CLEATS
Whether you call them decorative hooks, shade cleats, tie-backs or cord tie-downs, ChicCleats™ will complete your window design and are so beautiful you will want to show them off, not hide them like standard cleats. ChicCleats™ work well with most window coverings such as Roman shades, soft shades, woven shades and blinds.
No need to wrap the cord in a “figure 8”. Simply wrap the excess cord around the base of the cleat starting from the outside. Your shade will be tied down securely while still showing off your beautiful ChicCleat™. Don’t forget the matching TaradiddleTassel™ which hangs from the end of the cord. The tassel may also be used as a fan tassel or lamp pull.
You can now choose a size of cleat which is proportional to your window. Use our smaller style cleats (approx. 3 inches) in the kitchen or bath and our large style cleats (approx 4-1/2" to 5 inches) for larger windows in the living room or bedroom. All cleat dimensions are approximate and vary slightly from design to design. Each tassel design varies in length; however, the center is drilled out to fit from 1 to 7 cords on most styles. Other styles indicate the number of cords it will accommodate. Matching screws and anchors are included with each cleat. All of our metal products are crafted from a fine lead-free zinc alloy and electroplated in numerous finishes. The White & Black finishes are powder coated to last for years.

much as we do? Now there is an elegant solution in our nautical imspired
shade pulleys. Use these for a mulitude of other uses: Roman shade pulley,
boat hardware pulley, deck pulley, continuous cord pulley, rope pulley.
Solid brass pulley has with a beautiful finish. The chrome is solid
brass electroplated in chrome. Available in 1, 2 or 3 roller slots.

FINISHES:
All of our products are crafted from a fine metal alloy and finished to last a lifetime. Each one is hand detailed and colors will vary slightly.
Chrome/Silver really stands out. Use it in contemporary settings. Try our Gothic Cleat in Shiny Silver in a room where black is a major color. Amazing!
We find that our Pewter finish works wonderfully with pastels, grays, black and many dark greens. It is lovely anywhere you have brushed aluminum.
The Antique Copper works well with colors in warm color hues from off white to red. Our Paris Twisted Rope design is lovely in Antique Copper and goes beautifully with warm floral patterns.
The Antique Brass compliments colors in yellow, green and brown hues. The Kyoto Bamboo in Antique Brass is absolutely beautiful with natural reed and grass shades.
The Dark Bronze is sometimes referred to as “Hand Oiled Bronze”. This finish is often used in Spanish, rustic and country style homes. It goes well with wooden paneling, dark furniture and cozy settings.
Our 24ct Gold can be used anywhere you want to make a BIG statement.
White or Black can be used anywhere you want an understated look. These are powder coated to last for yers.
PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN & PETS:
Please be aware that children and pets may become entangled or strangled in window covering cords. Even manufacturers of shades and blinds with locking mechanisms recommend that the excess cord be held up in some fashion. To reduce the possibility of injury or strangulation, all cords must be kept out of the reach of children, including infants. Our ChicCleats are an effective way to reduce this hazard.
Attach the cleat at a height where it is out of the reach of children, being aware that a child may stand on furniture in and attempt to reach the cords. Once the cleat is attached using the hardware provided, simply wrap the excess cord around the cleat and out of the reach of children and pets.
